With more than 17 years of experience in benefits technology and consultancy, Senior Vice President Carolyn Locke is known for going above and beyond for her clients, creating customized solutions as they are looking for employee benefits programs.
In one case during 2021, that meant finding vendors that reflected a client’s diversity, equity, and inclusion commitment - in addition to saving the company money. Thanks to Carolyn’s hard work, the client had multiple options to choose from that met their requirements. Carolyn looks to understand the culture and values of her clients and creates benefit programs that mirror the company culture.
It’s this type of extra effort that resulted in Carolyn being selected as an Employee Benefits Power Broker by Risk & Insurance in 2022.
“She is a maximizer. We don’t have complaints because she is always making things better. She thinks about the impact and digs really deep into our employees’ needs,” one client recently said when asked about Carolyn’s impact. Read more of her story here.
Congratulations to Carolyn, along with Matt Somma, Dan Lindell, Dulcey Lester, Dana George, and Eric Tausend, who were all named to the 2022 Power Brokers program. What is a Power Broker?
A Risk & Insurance Power Broker® is an individual who stands out among their peers for the exceptional client work they delivered over the past year. While brokers play many key roles in the insurance industry and risk profession, a Power Broker® award recognizes problem solving, customer service and industry knowledge. The Power Broker awards program is a way to broadly recognize and promote outstanding risk management and customer service among the brokerage community.
Who selects the winners?
Power Brokers are selected by risk managers based on the strength of the testimonials they provide to a team of 15 Risk & Insurance editors and writers.
