Newfront, the tech-driven insurance brokerage firm based in San Francisco, today announced its Retirement Services subsidiary has been ranked No. 1 by Pensions & Investments Best Places to Work in Money Management in the 20-49 employee category. Nominees are evaluated on a specific criteria including company practices, programs, and benefits.

Newfront is redefining how the industry evolves and modernizes by bringing together the best in technology and insurance.  The Retirement Services team, made up of 25 professionals, focuses on comprehensive support for companies as they prepare for tomorrow.

“Our success as a company starts from within, with everyone believing in our mission, vision, and values,” said Senior Vice President of Retirement Services, Greg Kaplan, CFA. “This recognition means the world to us and I credit our entire team of talented individuals who are passionate and committed to each other, to our customers, and to continuing what we are building with Newfront.”

In addition to the survey criteria, current employees were asked for feedback on their experience at Newfront. Employees commented on the company’s inclusive culture, as well as the ability to deliver results to clients.

“The culture [at Newfront] focuses on fitting the role to the person and not the person to the role,” one employee noted. “There is opportunity to explore passions and interests that allow people to grow and develop within the company.”

“We believe that retirement readiness takes more than an off-the-shelf solution,” another team member added. “We use our extensive investment and ERISA experience, investor behavior and the latest industry trends to help our clients build leading retirement plans that put their employees on the right track for retirement.”

In the past few years, the Newfront Retirement Services team was recognized as a Top DC Advisor Team and also received certification from the Centre for Fiduciary Excellence (CEFEX). The certification recognizes adherence to a global standard of fiduciary best practices and the team's commitment to acting in the best interest of clients.
