ABD Insurance and Financial Services Acquires SharedHR, Launches new HR Services Practice

SAN MATEO, CA – ABD, a boutique consulting firm offering risk management, insurance brokerage, employee benefits and retirement solutions, announced today its acquisition of SharedHR, a leading human resources consulting firm. The acquisition launches the company’s new HR services practice, ABD SharedHR, offering human resource administrative and consulting services to existing and prospective ABD clients.  SharedHR CEO Paul Finkle and his current team of employees will continue to cultivate and grow the company’s HR offerings as the new ABD SharedHR practice group.  With this acquisition, ABD is one of a few select insurance firms to offer expert HR services along with insurance, employee benefits and retirement services offerings.

SharedHR brings both tactical and strategic human resources capabilities to ABD’s high touch, white glove service model.  Businesses will now benefit from a single source service to manage employees and employment risks including a full suite of strategic benefits programs, risk management services, and retirement consulting.
