ABD Announces New Wholesale Benefits Division

SAN MATEO, CA– ABD Insurance and Financial Services, Inc., announced today that Keith VanderZanden has joined the company to lead its newly formed wholesale benefits division, Advanced Professionals Insurance and Benefit Solutions. In his new role, VanderZanden will be responsible for setting strategy and driving growth. Advanced Professionals will provide Managing General Agency (MGA) and consulting services to healthcare trusts and Association Health Plans (AHP’s), as well as general agency services to insurers for health, life and disability, dental, vision and other ancillary lines of insurance.

Under Keith’s direction, Advanced Professionals will deliver flexible and responsive customer focused solutions that leverage powerful technology tools and marketing expertise. “We are thrilled that Keith has decided to join ABD to lead our new wholesale benefits division,” said Kurt de Grosz, President and Co-Chairman of ABD. “Keith is a visionary leader and strong operator, and we look forward to supporting Keith as he establishes Advanced Professionals as a pre-eminent provider of consulting services to trusts and association health plans.”
